Lamisi Yerrow, Richard Bindifrim and Sabine Valentin founded and registered a new NGO in Ghana on November 25, 2016:

The Midnight Sun Foundation. The idea came to me, Sabine Valentin, when I was traveling by bus from Accra to WaleWale two weeks ago. I struck up a conversation with the person sitting next to me and showed him our German flyer to explain where and how we support the organization. He suggested setting up a donation account in Ghana as well. This conversation got the ball rolling. The bank in WaleWale (30 km from Langbinsi) told us that we first had to register the foundation in Tamale (200 km from Langbinsi) before we could open a bank account. We will receive the certificate in two weeks and then an account can be opened.

We also hope to find support for the Midnight Sun International School in Ghana.
